After the waterfall we headed around the island up the north shore. We did stop at a Macadamia plantation, yum! If you have been to Hawaii you know that they take their wood carvings pretty seriously. The plantation had theirs out front, portraying a traditional Hawaiian couple.
Some North Shore pictures. Pictures don't do it justice, the water was so pretty! There were whales off the coast that you could see once in a while, not close enough to get a good picture though.
We ended up back at Waikiki and at the Hale Koa, the military resort, and played at the playground before heading to are evening entertainment.
We ended up doing the magic show and buffet at the Hale Koa, it was great for the kids, and Mark Mauricio was hilarious for us adults as well. You can't beat the price for a show and dinner either.
