Spaghetti Dinner Made Better

So I am no expert in the kitchen, never will claim to be, in fact I love quick and easy! When time gets away from me and might be in a pinch to get supper on the table quickly my go to meal seems to be spaghetti. I grab my jar of Ragu, noodles, and a pound of ground meat and get to work. Instead of ground beef I have started using the spiced pork sausage...slightly more fatty, but fat is tasty in moderation ;)

So I start with browning the sausage.

The key to making it even better is crushing some fresh garlic into the pan with the sausage as it browns.

This part fills the house with an aroma that will make anyone think you are cooking from scratch and the browned garlic tastes so good.

Add the Ragu once the meet is browned, I don't drain the grease since I like the meet in my sauce to be nice and moist.  Let the sauce and meet simmer as normal.

Plate noodles sauce and top with some shaved parmesan cheese and it looks and tastes like you slaved away in the kitchen when it only took 15 minutes.
