So when J goes to simulator training for his new jet he is put up at a hotel. The company that runs the training made reservations at the hotel right next to the Grapevine Mall, we spent a ton of time walking, ate many lunches there and even did a little shopping ;). It also happens to be one of the Sea Life Aquarium locations, so we decided one of the days J was "working" the boys and I would check it out.
This isn't the first Aquarium we have been to, and it is no near the largest or best, but the boys enjoyed it. We killed two hours walking around and staring into the different displays.
One of their favorites was walking thought the 360 tunnel and watching the turtles and sharks swimming around.
Another favorite was the hands on portion, they enjoyed getting to touch the star fish and other creatures in the touch tanks.
If you are in area and have some free time with your kiddos, I would say this would be a hit...especially when the heat index is around 110 degrees like it was when we visited.
