So the boys all are in school for their first full day today...so that gives me a break to finally get a post (or maybe even two) up while they are gone. One of these days I actually get around to posting their first day if I ever get caught up with everything that is going around here.
Well today I still have some pictures from our time in Texas to share. While there we stayed at a hotel right next to the Grapevine Mills Mall which is home to Legoland Adventure Center. So while J was working and spending time in the simulator I took all three of the boys to spend a couple hours playing with Legos and riding some of the rides.
We were the first to walk through the doors that morning and had to wait for our "factory tour" for only a few minutes, but they were greeted with Legos to play with and some "creations" to look at.
This particular Lego Discovery has 3 motion rides to go on...a castle/knight adventure, the go carts, and wizard/Harry Potter flight school.
The boys also built some cars to race...N won every time!
One of their favorite exhibits was the mini figure town--this one was of the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
It was a good time until it got super crowded with different daycare centers and youth/church groups showing up, talk about chaos! Not a huge fan of tight spaces, little kids not being fully supervised and waiting in lines...but again super fun for the boys while is was less busy.
