Head On Up

Today we will tour the upstairs layout of the O4/O5 4 bedroom (2263 sq feet) in Shilo West that we were offered at Scott AFB. Yesterday you got to see the lower level and yard space of the house, today we head upstairs. But before we do I would like to say how nice this housing area is and how friendly those that we have ran into are. We are truly blessed that we are once again moving into such new and nice housing that will more then accommodate our family. When we received orders to Scott we really looked into buying or renting off base, but after considering some of the convenience of living on base and being able to move right in we decided to give on base a try first.

So head on up the stairs and start the tour ;)

This is in the upstairs hallway, from the front large room doorway.

Turning around this is the large front bedroom, probably going to be shared by N and J. All the bedrooms have ceiling fans.

From the far left wall, looking at the closet.

From the far right front corner.

The large closet.

At the top of the steps straight forward is the master bedroom. Not showing is that the ceiling is vaulted...a nice touch. This master isn't as large as a couple of the other houses we have lived in, but it also seems less wasteful.

Master bathroom has double sinks and a separate bathroom.

It has a deep soaking tub and a separate shower.

Looking from the bathroom, back at the entrance and the closet.

The small walk in closet, small compared again to some past master's, but there is a lot of storage in this house as well!

Hallway linen closet.

Small back bedroom.

And the closet for this bedroom.

The hallway bathroom....only one sink :( Those poor boys are going to have to learn to share!

The other front bedroom.

Other front bedroom closet.

The upstairs storage closet...our neighbors turned theirs into the craft room....ummmm, ideas!

Hope you enjoyed taking a peak at the housing at Scott, I know I always enjoying touring other peoples houses....I may have a small addiction to HGTV and House Hunters ;)
