DIY Bowl Hanger

So I found these super cute lattice bowls on clearance at Target a couple of weeks back. For a couple bucks I thought they would be perfect for making some sort of art on the walls. I had a couple of plate hanging kits at home and thought I was good to go...but found out otherwise. The kits I had don't work with concave bottomed bowls and so I had to think of something else...and was getting impatient about getting them up on the wall.

So I grabbed a pop tab off of one of the many cans of sodas dear hubby likes to drink, a hot glue gun and refill glue sticks.

I applied a large amount of glue on the bottom and smushed the pop tab into it. Once it was dry I bent the end so it would be able to hock onto the hangers I placed on the wall.

Then it was time to hang them up and decide where each one was going. So far they have been up for almost two weeks and have yet to fall off the wall....success in my book for jimmy rigging something that would work.
