On Friday I took the boys to the base sponsored Easter Egg Hunt. They were excited to see friends and to get some candy, and I was excited for them to run around and wear off some energy.
They broke the kids into groups, N got some time with the EB himself waiting for his age group to start.
The hunt is on, N looks like he really knows what he is doing.
But he was just looking for his good pal, the EB. He was glued to him for half the hunt time showing him his basket and asking him for eggs, not understanding he had to look for the eggs.
Finally found one.

Then it was time for the older two to hunt.
J decided to team up with his best friend, mentioned in this post, they are super sweet. J talks about her ALL the time.
M searching for some eggs, they had "egg droppers" launching eggs across the field, and the kids were always running from one end to the other when they saw one fly through the air.
I thought it was funny that they had more then one bunny at the event. The one with N was quite posh looking, this one not so much. I think this one is sick and in need of a vacation, or maybe should be thinking about retiring.

LOVE the photo of he and his best friend...cross gender BFFs are my favorite...I think it prepares one for marriage. :)
The custome did look like it had mange and was half open in the back. J has always had an easier time being friends with girls, with this one he commented that she makes his tummy feel funny...oh goodness!
