Have Yourself a Very Merry Christmas...

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. December seemed to have flown by and I have lost days somewhere in there with all the hustle and bustle of events that seemed to get packed in.

Earlier in the month we got to attend M's first band concert.

He was super excited to come home and practice all the holiday music.

His honking has turned into something very more familiar.

His hard work has paid off and he sits second chair for the saxophone section. (The section leader just moved into the district at the beginning of the year and has one full year under her belt already.)

We managed to get a dressy photos done in front of the tree as well...although I think it is getting harder not easier to get these boys to focus on smiling and looking towards the camera.

Breaking things up a little to get the sillies out!

We once again had another visit with Santa at the OPS group Children's party.

Before tearing into the presents and in their Christmas jammies.

Stockings and Santa presents first.

We allow each of the boys to pick a gift for someone else to play "Santa" to and hand them their gift.

The boys had a very blessed Christmas, nothing over the top this year, but everyone still had big smiles on their faces after gift opening was over.

J even got his own Pokemon cards to battle the boys with.

We did have one small incident of bumping heads and a bloody nose. But it didn't slow N up one bit.

I think the boys will be busy testing out all the video games and toys they got for weeks to come.

This guy wasn't feeling 100% (dealing with a pretty nasty ear infection) but he was a champ and hung in there the best he could and still made his wonderful pie to share. We went to our good friends house for a late lunch and had a wonderful time socializing and having the kids play together.

We would like to say a huge thank you to all of our family and friends that thought of us this Holiday Season!
