So this fall on one of those long 4 day weekends the boys had we decided to do something extra fun. Originally we were going to spend one day at Six Flags with friends, drive to a camp ground and camp, hit up one of the local caves and hike around, camp another night and then off to Zipline in another part of the state. However, with a monster head cold that I ended up with we decided to downsize the plan a bit...which was good because a pretty nasty storm came through and it would not have been very fun. So we streamlined it with a day at Six Flags, coming home, and then driving out to Zipline and Eco Zipline Tours in Missouri.
The boys had Ziplined a small line a couple of years ago when we went to Lake Tahoe, they were super excited!
It was a new experience for J and I.
Game face on...lets do this!
We started at a fairly short easy line and worked our way into the woods.
The group was 2 guides, the 5 of us and then a mom and child that was family of 1 of the guides.
We purchased the 6 line package, a mid level package, but they allowed us to re-zip a couple of the lines filling out an hour out in the woods.
Eco Zipline Tours is a little different then some of the other companies out there. They use a tree friendly approach with not bolting into the trees, all of the business can just be taken down, packed up and moved on to another location without hardly a trace left on the area.
The boys had a wonderful time, J and I thought it was a good time but would have loved to do the larger line, but now we know what to expect!
